There are rumours in the Press today that the Government might be about to re-introduce the 10p income tax rate to help families, businesses and the economy (See Sun clipping above). Reports suggest that this could cost the Government £7 Billion

A the parties seem to think their duty is to take money regardless. where is the oil and power co's duty to the country.
People seem resigned to pay as they have no choice..I no longer go out in the country, stopping for a meal etc.
Britain had better be prepared when the public rises up in revolt. How gov. can say the oil co's are not in cahoots shows
how controlled they are, they dare not go against them. A least with other costs one can choose whether or not to indulge. A campaign of targeted purchase or other action must make them behave reasonably.
