not all of us have a fat salary, so that means the MAJORITY of the UK population are affected by soaring prices. This is not just at the pump it is within every utility we need and use daily. For the love of God someone slap those responsible for maxing taxation decisions then wake them up with a very strong coffee!!

This is crippling me.
I cannot do without my car. My kids go to school 8 miles away from me. The annual cost of running a car comes to 60% of my income. 47% is fuel alone. As a single parent receiving £130 per week, having to put £60 of that in the fuel tank hurts.

All this makes me wonder if Mr Osborne is deliberately trying to provoke people so that Fair Fuel day turns into another riot...

I am very saddend that the chancellor is not going to help with the price of fuel.
Why can he not see what the puplic are seeing?
After thirty years in road haulage i cannot remember in any situation things being this bad for hauliers.Does he want foriegn trucks to pick up on our work because they can buy fuel much cheaper than here?I fear it is the end of the road for many many thousands who need derv and petrol to do thier work.
Our fuel bill now stands (without any more increase)at £1300.00 every five days for one truck.
HELP HELP HELP IF ANY OF US ARE TO SURVIVE.

The time has come for civil disobedience , we need the rolling road block's and close the motorway network down throughout the country .
If this happened in France there would be nation wide strikes and port blockade's but as usual the Public has no backbone .
The Government need's to listen to the voter's in this country and start looking after electorate but make no mistake Osborne we will have you and Cameron out at the next election if you do not heed the British Public
