"I run a small local bus company in the West Midlands carrying people to school, work and the local shops. The increases in fuel costs are a real problem as we cannot pass on the costs to our customers, and we don't want to as we value our passengers, but the rising fuel costs over the last 12 months have put our business under pressure. This might ultimately lead to us not being able to stay in business. This will put 40 employees on the dole which will cost the government more money. It will also deprive local people of their bus services. This will mean they cannot get to the shops to spend money and wont be able to get to work or school"
