Question. You put fuel hose in car,you press handle to fill, amount used comes up on pump, you stop, is there fuel inside hose? is the reading taken from nozzel end or pump guage?if pump gauge there is still fuel in hose, which has been registered, but is not in your tank, who pays for this? As soon as you let go of the handle the fuel stops, not giving times for hose to drain. If the hose only holds min half a ltre. thats still 70p. a hose, how many hoses in UK? how many times a day are they used? what happens to that fuel you have paid for?
Its just aquestion from a synical old pensioner.
