Today MPs Robert Flello, Eilidh Whiteford, Nick Smith, Martin Vickers, Steve Baker and Robert Halfon pushed a car with the FairFuelUk campaign team along Whitehall to Downing Street in support of lower fuel prices. Robert Halfon MP and leader of the All Party Working Group, handed a letter into No 10 to seek reasons why the recent fall in oil prices have not been matched at the fuel pumps. The letter set out the urgent need for the Government to pressure Oil companies to pass on reductions in the cost of Oil and for the Government to abandon its plan to increase fuel duty in January 2012. This January increase could add up to 4 p per litre.

Please donate to help the fight for lower fuel prices and a better deal for drivers

I have lived in my rural area for 26 years, we have never had public transport, our nearest station is a half hour walk away down a very steep hill. I have always needed a car, I am now struggling with the cost of fuel, I am not sure what will happen? when I am forced to give up my car or my job.
